Senior Teamcenter IT Systems Analyst

Direct Hire Position

Location: Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

This position will assist in building the business rules that govern the functionality and operation of the Teamcenter PLM application and related systems
Provides industry best practices of Teamcenter PLM software design and development solutions working with the Teamcenter PLM team and the business user community including Configuration/Data Management, Engineering Design and IT technical team
Analyzes and articulates Teamcenter PLM business and technical requirements through to complete implementation of an enterprise Teamcenter PLM environment
Works closely with the technical team to deliver technical designs and software development efforts aligned with the functional solution recommendations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Document and formulate design specifications and business rules to be applied in a new Teamcenter PLM system
Support project planning, software, and system engineering to provide full product lifecycle management
Work closely with internal and external organizations to support various customer user and application level requirements including resolving elevated end user support requests, and researching and deploying advanced technologies
Business process analysis and system requirements development
Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

Required Skills

Required education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree and at least 7 years of experience
Ability to think strategically about configuration management in support of engineering design and product support, and to lead process improvement projects through to implementation
Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter
Must possess strong oral & written communications skills. Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
Candidate MUST be a US Citizen eligible for a Secret Security clearance

Preferred Skills

Demonstrated functional knowledge of hardware, software, and firmware configuration management tools, best practices, and industry standards
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and DoDAF related documentation, Clinger-Cohen Act compliance, and Software modeling and simulation

Experience Required:

5 to 7 years
